The Biden administration reportedly has no plan in place to deal with the imminent expiration of Title 42, a Trump-era policy that was invoked at the commencement of the WHO-declared COVID-19 viral outbreak in order to give U.S. Border Patrol agents the ability to kick migrants out of the country, including so-called 'asylum seekers.'
During his appearance on the show, Abbott told host Laura Ingraham that Biden's negligence in dealing with the crisis at the southern border amounts to an “impeachable offense.”
“Yes or no, is this an impeachable offense — what he’s done to this border?” Ingraham asked, as reported by Breitbart.
“I believe it is,” answered Abbott. “Laura, he is failing to fulfill the duties of his office, his executive powers. He’s not executing the immigration laws that were passed by the United States Congress. I believe it is an impeachable offense.”
The Texas governor addressed the race-baiting of New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D), who suggested that Abbott was intentionally sending buses of migrants to “Black-run cities’’ in a discriminatory effort.
Adams later denied that he ever implied racist behavior from Abbott.
“I never used the term racist … but let’s look at the facts,” Adams reportedly told The New York Post upon being fielded questions about the incident.
“To Washington, black mayor. To Houston, black mayor. To Los Angeles, black mayor. To Denver, black mayor. He passed over thousands of cities to land here,” the Democrat explained, seemingly alluding to the very thing he denied engaging in.
Abbott also ridiculed Biden for his plan to deploy 1,500 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border, arguing that he is only putting people out to do paperwork rather than legitimately protect the country.
"Only when Biden came in and eliminated all those [Trump-era] policies and put out a welcome mat to the entire world that the border is now open, that we suddenly have the chaos that’s caused solely by policies put into place by Joe Biden," Abbott charged.
Other figures he has targeted include Biden Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who went to the border just last Friday to assure the American people that "the border is not open."
Abbott blasted him on Fox News as well, telling 'Fox News Sunday' that the DHS secretary is either completely ignorant or intentionally telling "flat-out lie[s]."
